Mrs. Susan Wills Scruggs

Mrs. Scruggs has been the Media Specialist at Mitchell Elementary since 2005.  Prior to this time, she was Media Specialist at Eden Elementary in Pell City.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood, a Master’s degree in elementary Education from the University of Alabama.  She also holds a Master’s degree in School Library Science and an Education Specialist degree in School Library Science from Jacksonville State University.

Mrs. Scruggs has a son, Stephen, who graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham and a daughter, Sarah Katherine who attended Troy University and graduated from Auburn University.

Her hobbies are mountain biking, running, singing, technology and of course- reading.
