Position: 3rd Grade Teacher
I am proud to be a teacher at Mitchell Elementary in the Gadsden City Schools district, where I have
been teaching for 14 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Wellness and a
master’s degree in Elementary Education.
Before beginning my teaching career, I played basketball in college, and I continue to enjoy all sports.
Outside the classroom, I love reading, traveling, and spending time at my favorite place—the beach.
My husband, Tony, and I live in Hokes Bluff with our two children, Jack (14) and Harper (12). Teaching
is one of my greatest passions, and I strive every day to help my students grow not only academically
but also as lifelong learners.
