Mrs. Weaver earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Jacksonville State University and her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from The University of West Alabama. Mrs. Weaver is married to Rocky and they have a son, Carson. Mrs. Weaver enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son play baseball.

Mrs. Susan Wills Scruggs

Mrs. Scruggs has been the Media Specialist at Mitchell Elementary since 2005.  Prior to this time, she was Media Specialist at Eden Elementary in Pell City.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood, a Master’s degree in elementary Education from the University of Alabama.

Mrs. Julie Abel

Mrs. Abel holds a BS in Early Childhood Education and an MA in Special Education, both from the University of Alabama. She taught kindergarten for 13 years prior to transferring to Mitchell as a Special Education teacher. She is married to David, has two children, and two granddaughters.
